Confederate Civil War Museum

The building this museum is housed is on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum has one of the largest collections of Civil War artifacts in the country. A visit to this museum will bring you back in time to the Old South!








Louisiana Children's Museum

This children's museum offers a hands-on experience designed especially for children (but fun for adults, too).

The National World War II (& D-Day) Museum

This is one of the newest (and finest) museums in New Orleans. This museum holds a moving collection of stories, photographs and artifacts from the D-Day Invasion of Europe during World War II. A museum experience that should not be missed!



New Orleans Museum of Art & Sculpture Garden

From Impressionist to Modern Art, this museum is a gem to be discovered! Also on permanent display, are one of the world's largest collection of Fabergé Eggs!





The Old U.S. Mint

This historic property is part of the Louisiana State Museum system and is a museum devoted to the history of Jazz and also has a permanent exhibit on the money-printing techniques that were once used here. If you are a Jazz enthusiast, you don't want to miss this exhibit!

This historic property is part of the Louisiana State Museum system and is a museum devoted to the history of Mardi Gras in Louisiana. If you are unable to experience Carnival (Mardi Gras) “live”, the exhibit will definitely leave you with a flavor of our annual celebration!
